Positions include

Rafting Guide

Hot Air Balloon Ground Staff (Tethered Experience)

Kayak Guide at Lake Aoki

Shower Walking Guide at Himekawa River

You’ll support guests while enjoying outdoor activities yourself.

Most of our current staff started with no experience, so no prior experience is necessary. As long as you have motivation and enthusiasm, we will provide training to help you gain valuable skills and knowledge.

You will also be involved in all aspects of operations, including preparation, guest reception, and support to ensure smooth tour delivery.

Hourly Wage

Hourly Wage (Rafting Guide)

Training period: ¥1,150/hour

After passing the guide test until full guide certification: ¥1,200/hour

After becoming a certified guide: ¥1,250/hour

Additional allowance:

¥500 per tour when working as a rafting guide

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required

Employment Period

Short-term: Mid April – Mid June

Green season (full season): Mid April – Mid September

Full year: Mid April – Mid March

Flexible schedules and employment periods are negotiable.

Work Locations. Echoland Base. Lake Aoki Base. Goryu Base

Saigawa Raft Base (Kawa no Eki Sazanami). Happo Office. Lion Café and other locations

Staff Accommodation

Private room: ¥30,000/month

Shared room (2 people): ¥15,000/month

Utilities included (deducted from salary)

Shared facilities include:Wi-Fi/ Kitchen/ Bathroom/ Toilet/ Washing machine/ Sink/ Living room/ Mixed-gender shared house

Café Staff and Office Staff

☆ We are also hiring Café Staff and Office Staff!

 

These positions are perfect for those who may not feel confident in their physical strength but still want to work close to nature and be part of the outdoor world.

 



Café Staff

As café staff, you will take customer orders and serve coffee and food.

If you are passionate about becoming a barista, you can receive specialized training to develop your coffee skills and knowledge — even with no prior experience.

Through communication with customers and serving quality coffee and food, you will create a welcoming space and memorable moments for their day.

Hourly wage: ¥1,200
Hourly wage may increase depending on skills and performance.

 



Office Staff

Office staff are mainly responsible for managing tour reservations.

Duties include:

Responding to customer emails and phone calls

Basic computer data entry

Assisting customers with tour inquiries

Office staff are often the first point of contact for our guests and represent the face of the company. You will help match customers with the best tour based on their needs while supporting guides and field operations behind the scenes.

Hourly wage: ¥1,250 (conditions apply)
¥1,200/hour if language skills or computer skills are limited

Rafting Guide Training Information

After joining the company, you will first participate in training to obtain the qualifications required to become a rafting guide.

 



Training Schedule

Location: Hakuba
Start date: Mid-April

Training Fee

Free

However, if you are an external trainee or do not complete the minimum employment contract period set by the company (April 18 – June 15), you will be responsible for the training fee of ¥70,000.

 



Training Content

Practical Training:

Basic boat control

River rescue techniques

River swimming skills

Classroom Training:

Rafting fundamentals

River safety and knowledge

Meals are not provided. Please prepare your own meals (3 meals per day).

 



Rafting Guide Certification Exam

First exam: Scheduled for late April
Second exam: Scheduled for late April

Exam fee: ¥10,500 (self-paid)

Exam includes:

Practical test

Written test

 



Additional training for other activities will be provided as needed.
