The first time people flew the skies was in a hot air balloon.
Do you want to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Hakuba's surroundings on board of one of our hot air balloons? The morning course runs for about fives minutes and takes you so close to the peaks, you can almost touch them. The memory of shimmering light and wild beauty of the Northern Alps will be hard to forget. The hot air balloon adventure doesn’t require any special gear, just your casual clothes is sufficient! We only arrange morning flights due to wind conditions.

In order to secure the booking, please make sure to confirm the reservation at least one day before the flight.

*The time given to you upon reservation is your designated flight time. Please arrive at least 10 ~ 15 minutes before the time specified to you, as payment and paperwork must to be completed before the flight starts.

*During the summer peak season, we may start the tours as early as 5:00am. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

Season	26th April – 3rd November,2026- every Saturday,Sunday and public holiday only. We will be open on 26th April, 29th April – 6th May, and 9th – 10th May during Golden Week. Tours will be held daily during the summer vacation season (19th July – 31st August).
Meeting place	Meeting place(Next to Matsukawa Hakuba Ohashi Bridge) and time will be provided at the time of booking. – 10 mins before reservation time

Attendance	A minimum of 20 participants are needed for tours to operate. We will accept multiple reservations per tour (no minimum limit to number of people per reservation).
Requirements	Everyone is welcome! Children over 12 years of age may attend without adult supervision. Children 12 years of age and younger must have adult supervision. *All infants and must be accompanied by a capable adult pets.
Clothing	Please wear warm, comfortable clothing that can also get a little dirty. Please do not wear high-heeled shoes for your own safety. The mornings can be cold, so we recommend bringing a jacket/hoodie. Cinders and soot may fall from the burner onto clothing.
Other	Tours will not take place if there are bad weather conditions on the day (eg rain, snow, or wind stronger than 3 meters/sec (approx. 10 kph or 6 mph)). Tours also may stop suddenly if the weather worsens on the day. This also includes if the weather worsens mid-flight. If your flight is cancelled due to weather, we will post the cancellation on our website. Infants and pets MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times. Customers riding with their dogs may need to wait longer than the scheduled reservation time. Reservations for the hot-air balloon ride can be made up to 5:00pm on the day before the scheduled tour date. Reservations made after 5:00pm and same-day reservations cannot be accepted. The designated tour time is the time of the flight. Please arrive at the meeting location and be ready at least 10 mins before the scheduled time.
